Sacroiliac joint injections are injections into the sacroiliac joint to reduce symptoms caused by inflammation in that joint.

What happens during the procedure?

An injection into the sacroiliac joint of hydrocortisone to reduce inflammatory produced pain.

How does it work?

It works by reducing inflammation in that joint

How long does it take?

The procedure takes 20 to 30 minutes under sedation.

What are the risks?

The risks are infection.
